Being born in a brahmin family full of devout spiritual gurus, I always thought that I knew spirituality. Then I read books by Paramhansa Yogananda, Vivekananda, and in my own family knew some simple Bhakti Yogis, Which made me realise my ignorance. I had started this journey unknowingly in Childhood with books like Bhagwat Gita and Ramayana, but now I am knowingly trying to find my self enroute to spirituality. There are basically two temple pics that I have.. One is of Meenakshi(Means with the beautiful eyes like fish), Goddes the godess of Wealth Temple in Madurai Down south In the state of Tamil Nadu. The other is also of Tamil Nadu.. Madurai.. this one but of Tirupurakundram ... which is the temple of Lord Murugan the other son of Lord Shiva.
I have reproduced the carvings of this temple Main Enterance again on the story of Krishna else where in the blog.
