Some people believe in shaving the head and offer to Bala Ji...

Well a kid is getting his head shaved to be offered to Lord bala Ji. Its believed that any one who shaves his head is basically giving all his ego to the lord and some people believe that by offering to shave ones head is equal to offering ones head as Ravana did offer to Lord Shiva all his ten heads.

I have shaved my head many times at Tirupati on many special occations this time I shaved for no reason but just to be able to do without any ego and attachement to worldly things... hehehe.. I definately look like a gangstar... of Bollywood movies if not of Hollywood movies...
