The Neel kanth Bhagwan....in a different light .. The beacon to all Kanwarias at Haridwar

The kanwariyas believe that this poison makes Lord Shiva very hot. Soothe his body, the kanwariyas bring holy waters from Ganges all across the country side and its specially so to bring it from Haridwar. The kanwarias take the water and many of them go all the way to 3800 meter high mountain to Kedar Nath where Lord Shiva’s one of the many famous Shivalinga is. This water is poured on the Shivalinga with great devotion and religious fervor.
